Dear Learners of Basic Communicative German course offered by English and Foreign Languages University, Hyderabad. This is course aims to provide an introduction into the basic aspect of German language in daily contexts, which can help the learners to carry out simple conversations. The course contains 15 Modules with Audio and Video lessons ranging from information about German speaking countries, introducing yourself, renting an apartment, visiting a doctor, using public transport as well as how to express yourself with various adjectives in German language using a range of words. In each module there are audio and video lessons with dialogues are there which would help you to understand the basic conversations and practice them. Moreover, these modules have some aspects of German grammar, which can be learnt very easily and practiced with the videos repeatedly. Also, there are a range of exercises for each module which can be used by the learner to assess their learning. The videos and the exercises provide a holistic overview about the module and it is advisable to watch the video multiple times before attempting the exercises. It is advised to follow the modules in their respective order, so that each module is thoroughly clear before you move to the subsequent one. Since this is an online course, it offers you the flexibility to learn German at your own pace.
