Dr.Kalplata is an Assistant Professor in the Department of French and Francophone Studies in The English and Foreign Languages University, Hyderabad. She did her M.Phil in French Literature from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi in 2010. She completed her Ph.D. in 2015 in French Literature from The English and Foreign Languages University, Hyderabad. The title of the thesis was ?La femme ? figure d?altérité dans les contes de Maupassant ». Her research interests include French and Francophone Literature, Cinema Studies, Feminist Studies, Literary Translation, and Linguistics.
